British Military History

A Grunt's View- This site is about an Australian veteran who served in the Vietnam War. He has helped me put together a Vietnam era Australian uniform and aside from that, he's a great guy. Take the time to visit his site called "A Grunt's View."

This site was made by my friend, Jason French (who served in the RAF Regiment), and it's worth your time! At his site, he shares his memories and pictures while he served in the RAF Regiment. Another great site by another great bloke. =)

Britain's Small Wars- This site is, by far, the BEST resource for the conflicts Britain has been involved in from 1945-1992. I would highly recommend this site for anyone in search of a good site about British Military History.

British-Forces.com - A history of the British Armed Forces. Great site for the history of the separate branches.

Scottish Military Historical Society- A site dedicated to the proud traditions of the Scottish soldier.

Ship badges of the Royal Navy- Excellent site with pictures of the crests for many ships in the Royal Navy.

Sid's War- Another excellent site by Martin Spirit. It is the true story about his grandfather in World War II.

Re-enactor Vendors

Southern African Militaria- James has an excellent business going here. He offers some great gear for great prices. He operates out of South Africa. The items he sells are anything and everything, but mainly African kit along with some British stuff. Take a look!
